Back Cover Text:
At 85, this album marks another milestone for the greatest living blues piano master. For the first time, Pinetop’s unstoppable groove is captured live with a horn section. The powerhouse New York band is led by Alabama born George Kilby Jr. Their third CD together, this disk combines Pinetop’s Delta piano tradition and George’s New Orleans-influenced grooves for a high energy set that leaves the crowd cheering and stomping for more.
